2023 - ICE OUT LOTTERY TICKET PURCHASE & DATE REGISTRATION

Definition;

The 2023 - Ice Out Lottery will be a 50 : 50 raffle, with half of the proceeds awarded to the winner, and the other half benefiting the Spofford Lake Association

Tickets:

Tickets may only be purchased on this web page, just click the box above

Tickets will be $ 10.00 each

You must be at least 16 years of age to purchase a ticket

Individuals may purchase multiple tickets for the same, or multiple different dates, however, each ticket must be registered separately

Individuals do NOT need to be an SLA member to purchase tickets

Ticket sales will end on February 15, 2023, this may be changed by the committee depending on the weather conditions in February 2023

SLA Ice Out Lottery Committee members are prohibited from participation

Winner:

The winning “Ice Out Date" will be determined solely by the Spofford Lake Association, Ice Out Lottery Committee 

Consistent with previous years, the Official Ice Out Date will be the first date on which there is no visible ice anywhere on the lake surface, at 2:00 PM

If there is more than one entry for the winning date, a single winner will be selected by a random drawing which will be conducted by the Ice Out Lottery Committee

Consolation prizes will be awarded to the remaining ticket holders with the correct date

If no ticket is sold for the actual ice out date, the closest date for which a ticket has been purchased, following the actual date, will be recognized as the winning date

The winner will be notified at the "registered" e-mail which was used to purchase the ticket
