Contribute to the Spofford Lake Preservation Fund by Shopping at AmazonSmile
What is the SmileAmazon program?
AmazonSmile, a portal separate from Amazon's main site, offers the same items, prices, and benefits as Amazon.com, but with one distinct difference. When users shop on Smile.Amazon.com, the retailer's Foundation contributes 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to the charity of your choice. There is no cost to charities or customers, and 100% of the donation generated from eligible purchases goes to the consumer's charity of choice. For frequent Amazon users, this additional perk is a great way to give to charities effortlessly.
How do I select the Spofford Lake Association, Lake Preservation Fund?
A specific link has been developed for the SLA. Click here and follow the prompts. Enter 'Spofford Lake Association' as the registered charity.
Be sure to bookmark www.Smile.Amazon.com. You must use this site when shopping. If you go to www.amazon.com, NO donation will be made to your charity.
May I change my selected charity?
Yes. The Spofford Lake Association is only one of over a million registered charities at AmazonSmile.
What Items Are Eligible for AmazonSmile Donations?
Millions, but not all items, are eligible for a donation. Before you check out, make sure your purchase qualifies. Look for the "Eligible for AmazonSmile donation" stamp in the product's description. If it is not there, the product will not count toward your total donation.
Returned items also do not count toward the donation amount. "Subscribe and Save" purchases are also not eligible, as are gift-wrapping fees, shipping & handling, taxes, and service charges.
